Questions
- Which is cheaper, Imagen 4 or GPT Image 2?
- GPT Image 2 is the cheaper of the two: it starts at 2 credits (USD 0.02) per image, against 7 credits (USD 0.07) for Imagen 4. At the entry variant, Imagen 4 costs 3.5 times as much.
- Can I try both without paying for two subscriptions?
- Yes. On Troquel both run on the same credit balance and there is no subscription: you top up from USD 10 and pay for each generation separately.
- Which one is better for product ads?
- It depends on the product and the piece, and a table does not settle that. What can be measured is above: price, aspect ratios and whether it starts from your photo. The reasonable move is to test the angle on the cheapest variant of each and pay for the final resolution only on the one that worked.
